At three years old, Chris was drawing skeletons on cardboard boxes at his grandmother's house. As a child, he didn't have many materials to paint with so he used things around him to create art. Today, he continues to use this technique to create what he calls "recycled art."
Chris considers art as therapy and uses bright primary colors to create a light and happy mood. He doesn't have a favorite medium when creating a new piece but relies more on his mood. He compares this a lot to coooking, "Like when you're throwing together ingredients to try something new and it tastes good. With my art, I put together different subject matter that normally doesn't go together and it works."
