Barbara Taylor is a preacher and teacher who never had a hobby in her life until she broke a necklace a few years ago and decided to repair it herself.
From her humble beginnings in the craft aisle at Wal-Mart, she has graduated to designing original jewelry made from semi-precious stone and metals, imported bone and glass.
Taylor's work incorporates findings from her travels far and wide. Whether she is in Nashville for a speaking engagement or in Bhutan on vacation, she comes home with beads to fire her imagination.
In addition to being represented by Soque Art Works in Clarkesville, Taylor is a juried artist at the Center Gallery in Sautee-Nacoochee, Georgia, as well.
