Joyce Sanders, a former educator, now retired lives in Skylake, a gated community near Helen, Georgia, in the beautiful mountains of northeast Georgia.
After her husband's death, Joyce turned her attention to writing children's stories, drawing, being an avid collector, playing Bridge, and enjoying being Bana, Trent and Jenni's grandmother.
Several decades ago, Joyce graduated from Newnan High School, attended Wesleyan College in Macon, Georgia, and graduated from Georgia State College in Milledgeville, Georgia, with a B.S. and Master of Education degrees. Later post graduate work was completed at Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia.
Life in the peaceful community of Skylake is a safe, ideal haven for creative work. Joyce enjoys the support of her daughter and her son and their families.
