Marcia Bugg is a production potter living in Western North Carolina. At this time she works chiefly in high-fired porcelain. She is very interested in ash glazes, and much of her work is glazed with them. She processes the ash from her wood stove in order to make these distinctive glazes.

Marcia has worked with the J.C. Campbell Folk School on a part time basis as the Resident Potter for fifteen years. She received her BFA from UGA and my MFA from Clemson University. Both degrees are in Ceramics. Marcia is a member of the Southern Highland Craft Guild.

"I hope you enjoy using my work as much as I enjoy making it."
