Lynn N. Jenkins came into the world in 1960 in Miami, Florida. Her family moved to the mountains of North Carolina in 1969. She started potting in 1976 and clay has been a part of her life ever since. She graduated from Haywood Production Crafts in 1980 and continues to study and learn different techniques.
Her latest studies were on the San Ildefonso Pueblo in New Mexico where she studied with two great-granddaughters of Maria Martinez, renowned for her black pottery.
Lynn is currently creating her own style of black pottery, as well as horse hair pottery and traditional raku. Lynn continues to enjoy her life journey with clay and hopes you enjoy the energy she passes on to you with her pottery.
