For several years I have been dabbling in jewelry design as a hobby. I have always liked working with my hands and had an "eye" for detail and color. Perhaps that is why I enjoy creating jewelry. It is defmitely a hands-on art form.
The more I study the history of jewelry and of gemstones the more I want to learn. While it is difficult to describe my style, I work with new and old chain, found vintage pieces, findings and other decorative components. Unusual handmade glass beads, gemstones and jewelry of a different era give me endless inspiration.
